The Fernsprechbaukraftwagen - telophone line construction motor vehicle - and Lastkraftwagen für Fernsprechbau - lorry for telephone line construction - were hardly differentiable from a standard m. gl. Lkw., off. (o) if the tarpaulin was closed. Typical for both variants was the 4.3 meters long ladder which was carried along in special mountings on the right side. Both variants differed only by the equipment stored inside. Likewise typical for both variants were the two large seat boxes which can be seen through the opened tail dropside.
