The decontamination powder was brought out by the spreading mechanism at the rear of the vehicle. In the case of the production model 1938, the equipment cabinet was narrower, less deep but higher compared to the 1939 model. In addition, the driver’s cab was narrower.

The protection bars on the sides of the vehicle prevented the load from falling off the vehicle. Note the spreading mechanism at the rear of the vehicle. Later in the war, the Sd.
