The Funkkraftwagen - radio motor vehicle - (Kfz. 19) mit Fahrgestell des l. gl. Lkw. (o) - with chassis of the light cross-country lorry (commercial), abbreviated Fu. Kw. (Kfz. 19), was made exclusively on the chassis of the Krupp L 2 H 43 and L 2 H 143. Depending on the radio equipment, the vehicle had either a rod antenna or a rod antenna and an additional roof antenna.

The Krupp chassis was officially classified as l. gl. Lkw. (o) but it was developed as chassis for heavy passenger cars. Probably because of this, a Kfz. number from the number range of the s. gl. Pkw. was used. According to the Gerätnachweis D 804/1 from 26th April 1937, the Fu.Kw. (Kfz. 19) was used by the mittlere Funktrupp - medium radio squad - b (mot.).

Later the Fu. Kw. (Kfz. 19) was also procured based on the Einheitsfahrgestell für s. Pkw. and s. Pkw. type 40. Such vehicles were fielded for example by Führungs-Nachrichten-Regimentern.
